The Russia-Singapore Business Council (RSBC) jointly with the Representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Singapore, with the support of the State Corporation "Rostec", organizes for the first time the participation of Russian space industry specialists in a Research-to-practice conference. A meeting of students of Singapore universities with representatives of the Russian space industry will be hold in an online format on December 14, 2021, from 10:00 to 12:00 in Singapore at the site of the Scientific Center.
The program of the event includes presentations of Russian companies and cosmonauts, as well as a live broadcast with an astronaut.
At the meeting will be presented interesting projects of JSC "Vympel" and JSC "Glavkosmos". Russian cosmonauts will share their personal experiences, tell about the way they have come and about the difficulties they faced to fly into space.
A welcoming speech to the participants of the meeting will be given by cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, who is currently leading the space expedition, from the Soyuz MS-19 International Space Station.
As speakers the event will attend specialists of the "Gagarin Research &Test Cosmonaut Training Center" with a lecture "Russia's achievements in space: the past and the present", as well as cosmonauts Oleg Skripochka (awarded the titles of Hero of the Russian Federation and Pilot-Cosmonaut of the Russian Federation) or Sergei Revin (the Soyuz TMA flight engineer and the ISS flight engineer), who will tell about their personal experience and how to become a cosmonaut. Meanwhile in 2021 RSBC organized a space-related educational program "Space Camp Quiz" for Singapore schoolchildren at the "Gagarin Research &Test Cosmonaut Training Center".

The conference will be broadcast online on the Facebook channel of the Singapore Science Center (www.facebook.com/SCOBservatory) for wider audience coverage.
