On October 17, 2017 at the 8th session of the Russia-Singapore High-Level Intergovernmental Commission the parties supported the initiative to establish in Singapore a Center for Promotion of Russian high-tech products with the focus on the products and services of the State Corporation Rostec enterprises, as well as the development of the export-import B2B platform RSTrade, operated by the executive structure of the Russia-Singapore Business Council. The platform is adopted as an instrument for promoting civil products of Rostec enterprises to the markets of South and Southeast Asia. The parties also supported the III International Conference Russia-Singapore Business Dialogue in Singapore that is going to be organised by the Russia-Singapore Business Council in April 2018.

On October 15, 2017 an export-import B2B RSTrade (www.rstradehouse.com) was further developed: the new content was added and the working version in Chinese emerged. Prior to this the Platform had operated in three languages: Russian, English and Indonesian. Besides, the practicable integration of RSTrade with the State Information Industrial System have begun.

The United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec State Corporation), as part of Aviation Expo China 2017, has signed a memorandum with the Chinese company AECC Commercial Aircraft Engine Co., Ltd. (AECC CAE). The Memorandum determines the objectives and main principles of interaction in the joint development of a gas turbine engine for a prospective long range wide-body aircraft (LRWBA/C929).
