Basic information
Research and participation in creation (during the independent and collaborative works performed in cooperation with the TsAGI specialists) of the airframe design of the following:
Su-27 aircraft and its modifications;
Product line of the sport acrobatic aircrafts from Su-26, Su-29, and Su-31 family, as well as their modifications;
All types of Ground effect vehicles produced in the USSR;
Various types of planes and other aircrafts produced in the USSR and in Russia.
Provision of strength and endurance of the most part of the mass-produced civil and military airplanes and helicopters produced in the USSR and Russia.
Researches and development of measures that provide strength and reliability of alighting gears for all aircrafts produced in the USSR and Russia.
Development of Know-How aerospace objects testing without the use of hyperthermal vacuum chambers.
Development of Know-How aerospace objects acoustical testing based on the running acoustic wave effect.
Development of the unique measurement, control, and diagnostic tools to receive information during structural testing.
Development of theoretical principles of calculation and design of sandwich shells, wide-body aircrafts, and war planes with consideration of damages.
Currently the Institute works on creation and adjustment of resource of SSJ-100, the Regional Jet — the aircraft of the 5th generation, and МС-21, the short-medium-range aircraft; the Institute also forms the technology advance for creation of the long-range aircraft.
