VILS JSC is a strategic enterprise in the field of creation of new technologies and production of metallurgical products made of special alloys.

VILS has a closed-circuit metallurgical production cycle integrated with a testing and research basis.

There are 94 patents in the innovative portfolio of VILS. Practically all products manufactured are exclusive and highly technological and require permanent scientific supervision.

Production of materials and semi-products is certified by Aviation Register of Inter-State Aviation Committee (Certificate for production of aircraft materials No СПМ-1/5 of July 19, 2007).

Quality management system is certified by TUV SUD Management Service GmbH Certification Body in terms of conformity to requirements specified by ISO 9001:2000 (Certificate No 12 100 6966 TMS of April 28, 2009).

By mutual decision of Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology and Inter-State Aviation Committee VILS's Testing Centre is accredited to technical competence to carry out tests in the GOST R certification system and certification system for aviation machinery and civil aviation objects. (Accreditation Certificate No ИЛ-044 of June 27, 2006).

Based on JSC “VILS” Inter-State Technical Committee (ISTC) and Russian Technical Committee (TC) for Standardization were created and function. These Committees were approved by Inter-State Council of the CIS for Standardization, Metrology and Certification and Federal Agency of the Russian Federation for Technical Regulation and Metrology.

TC 297 “Light and Special Alloy Materials and Semiproducts” is a “mirror” Committee of Technical Committee “Light Metals and their Alloys” incorporated in the International Organization ISO/TC 79 and included in the ISO Global Directory as a member-expert with the right to vote in ISO/TC 79 on behalf of the Russian Federation.

35 large organizations and enterprises, manufacturers and consumers of products belonged to the field of activity of ISTC (TC) 297 are members of this TC.

This TC is responsible for more than 100 inter-state (GOST) and national (GOST R) standards, more than 150 branch standards and branch specifications.
