IV «Russia-Singapore Business Dialogue» was held in Singapore.

Russia-Singapore Business Council together with the Radio-Electronic Cluster of  Rostec State Corporation supported by the Roscongress Foundation and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation in the period from 26 to 29 March 2019 conduct a business mission in the Republic of Singapore. The main directions were introduction and exchange of experience between heads of  Russian enterprises with Singapore partners and visiting of those Singapore enterprises, which already develop cooperation with Russian business or plan to develop it. In particular, educational program to improve the competence of specialists of Russian radio-electronic industry for export to South-East Asia is being conducted in parallel. The Rostec delegation is headed by Deputy General Director of Shvabe holding Ivan Ozhgikhin.

The anchor event within the business mission was IV «Russian-Singapore Business Dialogue», supported by the decision of the High-level Russia-Singapore Intergovernmental Commission. The meeting was attended by over 100 delegates – representatives of business circles, public authorities of the two countries and Eurasian Economic Commission, media, universities and public organizations. The main subject of the annual Forum was cooperation in radio-electronic industry, healthcare and information technologies. There were represented  products and solutions of Shvabe holdings, Ruselectronics,  Avtomatika, Sozvezdie and VEGA. Besides, among speakers there were representatives of Gazprom Marketing & Trading,  Singapore Manufacturing Federation and a number of Singaporean, Russian and international companies.

At the event there were presented projects implemented in the sphere of medical technology and equipment, and also in multispectral computer security solutions for the protection objects of critical infrastructure.

Attention was paid to cultural issues, both, as to already implemented as to upcoming, for example, Russian film week in Singapore, which will be held in 2019. The management of the Roscongress Foundation invited delegates from South-East Asian countries to participate in major Russian forums, in particular, in St.Petersburg International Economic Forum, in  Eastern Economic Forum and other events/ projects.

“The cooperation agreement will be a step to strengthen business ties between the expert and business communities of Russia and Singapore, as well as allow more active participation of representatives of Singapore technology companies in key events of the Roskongress Foundation,” said Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation.”

Key event of the Forum was  online presentation on the integrated solution of LLC Rstrade and vCargo Cloud Pte Ltd –  RSTrade and CamelONE platforms. Rstrade platform brings together manufacturers and customers of production from 22 countries, VCC platform – companies providing services in international transport logistics from 15 countries. The integration of platforms services forms a new economic space that allows to intensify contacts between companies from different countries. Now products ordering, identifying the services of foreign economic activity, primarily, logistics, can be implemented in the format of  electronic exchange. The integrated solution can be used in the framework of EEC project on the creation of integrated platforms in subcontracting and technology transfer and  also in digital transport corridors of the EAU. It was the first time of presenting implemented integration solution. The executives of platform operators Sergey Pronin and Desmond Tay noted that in April it will be presented at international forums in Tokyo and Novosibirsk. According to Bloomberg experts, an integration cross-platform solution can be of global importance.

With our support, the Russian-Singapore Business Council is working, and the Centre for Foreign Promotion of Russian high-tech companies has been opened, ”said the Chairman of the RSDS, Deputy General Director of the Rostec State Corporation Nikolay Volobuev. “Today, about 500 Russian companies and their representative offices are open in Singapore. One of the key priorities of our work in the near future will be the development of cooperation between Russian and Singaporean companies – this is joint development of products and solutions, localization and technology transfer. ”
