RSBC organizes VII Russia-Singapore Business Dialogue

Russia-Singapore Business Council annually holds business dialogue.

On November 3, 2022, RSBC will hold the VII Russia-Singapore Business Dialogue on the International Trade: New Challenges and Opportunities. The event will be held in a mixed format: in-person format in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), as well as via telebridge Kuala Lumpur - Moscow (at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation) - Singapore (in the Foreign Promotion Center of Russian high-tech companies and presentation of investment projects.).

In the conditions of fundamental transformation of the geopolitical and economic landscape the Russian economy and business face important strategic and large-scale tasks - strengthening and expansion of mutually beneficial interregional cooperation with countries whose economic agenda correlates with Russia’ agenda on the world arena.

Today the scale and intensity of our country's business relations with partners in the East have increased significantly. The determining factor for many countries of ‘Greater Eurasia’ and the East, as well as for Russia, is the creation of a joint technological and economic space within which platform solutions can be created to compete with the leading global markets.

Interregional cooperation, in turn, involves the creation of joint business associations between Russian and Eastern businesses as open platforms to serve the needs of Russian-Asian trade and economic cooperation, which can create new economic ties and ensure a dialogue between entrepreneurs at the interregional level.

During the business dialogue the multi-year experience of established strategic partnership between Russia and countries of South-East Asia, the Middle East, China and India will be evaluated; new vectors of cooperation and prospects for cooperation will be defined not only in economics and business, but also in science and technology, humanitarian, cultural and educational fields.

The business dialogue will include speeches by Russian Ambassadors in Singapore and Malaysia, Russian trade representatives in Singapore and Malaysia, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, of Russia-Singapore Business Council, as well as representatives of Russian and foreign government agencies, business communities and entrepreneurs.

The final event of the Russia-Singapore Business Dialogue will be the youth session on the Intercultural Communication as a Necessary Element of Modern Professional and Social Communication with the participation of young professionals from Russian institutions of higher learning.
