International competition “Hi-tech future”
Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) is one of the most popular universities in the field of aerospace training and one of the biggest Russian technical universities. MAI is opened for international cooperation and is keen on attracting foreign students, especially from Singapore, as it is known for the highest quality of its school and college education. Currently MAI is holding an international competition “Hi-tech future” in Math and Physics. The competition is organized jointly with Russia-Singapore Business Council (RSBC), Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Singapore and Representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Singapore with support of Rostec State Corporation. We invite undergraduate 3rd and 4th year students to participate. The competition includes 2 stages, both online. Registration will take place from 22 November 2021 to 10 December 2021. The first stage of the competition will take place from 11 to 12 December 2021. The second stage will take place in the second half of December. On 14 December 2021, Singapore will host a meeting between students from Singapore educational institutions and representatives of the Russian space industry at the Science Centre. Interesting projects and space missions will be presented at the meeting. Russian cosmonauts will share their personal experiences and the way they took to fly into space. Cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, who is currently in charge of the space expedition, will address the meeting from the Soyuz MS-19 International Space Station. The conference will take place in the online format. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions directly of Russian experts.
