The musical synthesizer MS-001 was developed and produced at the NPP “Radiosvyaz” (part of Roselectronics). The product is a MIDI system, which includes a board with microchips, a controller, and a keyboard. The equipment is installed inside a button accordion and turns a musical instrument into a synthesizer. The board has a built-in pressure sensor, and depending on the tensile strength of the fur, the sound of the instrument changes.
The device’s flash memory contains piano sounds, wind and string instruments, acoustic and electronic drums, bass and percussion. The device allows the artist to select samples, adjust the tempo, set sound effects. Musicians can improvise with traditional sounds of live instruments, as well as mix new tones. The synthesizer has an analog audio output for connecting to an external power amplifier.
