Fire protection material description
OGRAX-KSK structural fire protection system is combined double coating comprising OGRAX-T heat- and fire protection material and OGRAX-SK-1 fire protection intumescent material.
The coating is non-toxic, emits no harmful substances when heated, does not form toxic compounds on contact with other substances and under influence of other factors. It is delivered ready for use in metal containers with tightfitting lids.
Characteristics
Name OGRAX-T OGRAX-SK-1
Color beige white
Solids content 50±3 % 70±5 %
Density of dry coating 0,9±0,2 g/cm33 1,3±0,2 g/cm33
OGRAX-KSK is certified for compliance with the Technical Regulations on fire safety requirements (Federal Law №123 dated 22 July 2008), the test method as per GOST R 53295-2009.
Application method
Coating is applied in 2 steps. Firstly, OGRAX-T is applied layer by layer until the required dry coating thickness is reached; thereafter OGRAX-SK-1 is applied layer by layer until the designed dry coating thickness is reached.
Use mechanical application (air or airless spray), or apply with a roller or a brush.
The air temperature during the application should be between +5°C and +50°C, maximum relative humidity 90%.
Surface to be protected should be dry, free from dirt, rust, old paint, etc., and primed.
Use personal protective equipment. In case of contact with eyes rinse them thoroughly with water.
Drying period between layers of OGRAX-T - at least 4 hours, of OGRAX-SK-1 - 2-3 hours, between the layers of materials - 1 day, complete drying of OGRAX-KSK in 10 days.
Storage and operation conditions
Storage and transportation in a sealed container at a temperature from -50 °C to + 60 °C
Guaranteed shelf life one year after manufacture date
