The SODIS Building M platform combines controlled elements (e.g. building structures, security systems, engineering systems), sensors, customizable monitoring parameters, large data storage, processing algorithms, visualization technologies, and BIM-model. This approach minimizes the technical experts’ participation in the monitoring process.

An automated decision-making process about structures’ health estimation without the participation of an expert. The effectiveness of this technology is based on the ability to track correlations between different measuring systems (i.g. between a system for measuring foundation slab tilt and a satellite monitoring system for moving the high-rise building top point) and the ability to set complex logistical rules to calculate a structure's health estimation.

Continuous long-term monitoring of building structures’ health according to various parameters: deformations, displacements, pressures, vibrations, tilts, drafts. This allows localizing defects in building structures and confirms the design models.

As the basis of the SODIS Building M system, the BIM model is used: a building digital twin is a single database. This significantly reduces the SODIS Building M implementation and commissioning costs. The detailed visualization on the BIM-model is used in the dispatcher’s work. It displays the monitoring results and data analysis, notifies visually, and shows problematic areas.
