The modem is designed to organize a simplex, half-duplex and duplex communication channel formed by HF radio facilities with a standard single-band telephone channel 300 - 3400 Hz.

“Kvazar-P” is designed to isolate narrowband frequency channels from a broadband signal in the frequency range 1.5-60 MHz.

“Kvazar-V” is intended for the formation of narrow-band frequency channels in the frequency range 1.5-60 MHz.

The radio modem is implemented on a modern software and hardware platform that allows you to expand the functionality of the modem by adding new software modules without changing the hardware component.
