Fast-quenched powder of the nickel-manganese alloy AP-MnNi40 in flake form is widely used in producing synthesized diamonds of various sizes.

Nickel-aluminum alloys are used as starting materials for production of nickel skeletal catalyst (“Raney nickel”) to hydrogenize compounds.

Cobalt alloyed powders are used in hardfacing technologies and in restoring machine components and equipment that operates in aggresive environments, abrasion and high temperature. Plasma coatings of cobalt alloys provide the surface with resistance to corrosion, erosion, and abrasive wear and maintain a sufficiently high hardness up to temperatures as high as 800°C.
