Russian company RSTradehouse LLC and Singapore vCargo Cloud signed an agreement on cooperation and integration of electronic platforms

On September 19, 2018 in Singapore during the session of the High-level Inter-Governmental Russia-Singapore Commission under the co-chairmanship of Russia's Vice-Premiers Maxim Akimov and Singapore Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Russian RSTradehouse LLC, which is the executive structure of the Russia-Singapore Business Council and the Singapore vCargo Cloud Pte. Ltd. ("VCC"), a subsidiary of SGX Catalyst, signed a cooperation agreement to expand trade opportunities between Russian and Singapore companies. The agreement provides mutual integration into the platforms vCargo Cloud and RSTrade (which is operated by RSTradehouse LLC) of electronic services and services of this two companies. This should expand the presence of VCC in Russia and the countries of the EEU and RSTrade in the ASEAN countries.

Also, the companies agreed to represent and promote the goods and services of the other side to their customers in the markets of Singapore and the ASEAN countries, as well as Russia and the EEU countries, respectively.

The cooperation of the two electronic platforms will promote the expansion of bilateral and multilateral trade of goods, as well as the development of international cooperation in the areas of contract manufacturing, logistics and the provision of customs and other services of international trade in an automated mode.

Under the Cooperation Agreement, VCC can easily access more than 81,000 companies from 16 countries in Europe and Asia which are already represented on the RSTrade platform, this allows VCC to enter a much wider market. Out of 16 countries, only Russia has a population of 142 million people and a turnover of more than 500 billion US dollars in 2017, giving VCC the opportunity to expand the coverage of the CamelONE ™ platform.

The RSTrade platform is a unique Russian development that allows companies to solve issues of electronic commerce, selection of services, searching the investors and investment projects, as well as partners in contract manufacturing, engineering and subcontracting. The platform operates on the basis of a distributed server system, which allows to keep the information safe, online access to information and scalable system performance. The initiator of the development was the Russian-Singapore Business Council. Iw was supported by the State Corporation “Rostec”. Currently, negotiations are under way on the use of individual modules and elements of solutions developed on the RSTrade Platform for use within the framework of the EEU.
