GTE-25P gas turbine unit for power plants
The gas turbine unit GTE-25P was designed on the basis of the gas generator of the PS-90A aircraft engine, which is used as part of the power drive unit of the best modern domestic passenger aircraft Il-96, Tu-204, Tu-214. To harmony the nominal rotational speed of the rotor shaft of the power turbine of the engine with the standard frequency of the synchronous generator, a single-stage gearbox manufactured by the German company Flender is used.
