Description

Access control systems fully exclude influence of 'human factor' on the system of usage of pass-cards, since access control is performed by equipment. At the same time, access control systems allow differentiation of access levels for specific rooms, i.e. permitting a specific employee to enter only a limited number of rooms in accordance with this employee's access level.

The system allows to activate or deactivate security mode for rooms. In the event of an irregularity, the system sounds an alarm. All events, alarms, activations or deactivations of security mode are recorded in logs and are stored in the system (and in the memory of controllers) for a prolonged time.

Access control systems allow to establish dates and times of employees' entries to rooms, to monitor working times, to identify employees by way of visually comparing card users' faces with original photos of specific card holders, to control employees' movements across secured sites, and to ensure protection from passing of cards to other persons with the help of re-entry control system.

Access control systems allow prohibition of employees' entries on holidays, on days-off and outside of working hours, organization of databases for each employee or visitor, and obtainment of real-time information on various irregular and alarming situations.

Comprehensive integration of access control systems with video surveillance systems and security-and-fire prevention systems allows full control over the situation on sites in automatic mode:

In the event of an irregularity, integration with video surveillance system allows identification of violating person within the shortest time.
When there is integration with security alarm system, access control system allows automatic activation of siren, lamp or other signal in the event of room entry.
When there is integration with fire alarm system, access control system allows deblocking of doors, opening of gates, lowering of turnstiles for personnel evacuation in the event of fire or smoke.

Integration with video surveillance systems gives the following possibilities:

Addition of video server of video surveillance system and establishment of connection between access points and video channels. Existing channels are taken from video surveillance server automatically.
Establishment of connection between video camera pictogram and video surveillance system channel, after which it would be possible to obtain live camera view in the interface of access control system.
Construction of a view including display of video surveillance system channels. Channels can be set in a static manner or adjusted for automatic selection on the basis of access point at which displayed event has occurred.
On clicking an event, automatic entry to the interface for viewing video archive with selection of required channel and positioning at required time
