Description

Tubes are supplied after annealing in vacuum and etching of their outer and inner surfaces. With the purpose of obtaining the specified mechanical properties, microstructure of tube metal and other properties the tubes can be subjected to special thermo-mechanical treatment upon agreement with the customer.

Inspection
Tubes are inspected by ultrasonic flaw detector for the absence of impermissible defects on the outer, and the inner surfaces and in the thickness of the tube metal.

Total out-of-straightness of the tube generating line does not exceed:

2 mm for tubes with 88 mm in outer diameter;
3 mm for tubes with 89 mm in outer diameter.
Packaging and marking
Each tube is packed in polyethylene film or in paper, then stowed in logements and placed into a wooden or metal tare (boxes, containers). Packaging of tubes prevents them from moving inside the container, contamination, damage of the surface, and distortion of shape.

Transportation marking is performed according to GOST 14192-77 with application of manipulation signs and indications of the manufacturer, net weight, gross weight, alloy grade, number of melt (lot), the outer diameter of the tubes, and the address of the customer.

Transportation and storage
Tubes can be transported in packaged form by all types of transport. When transporting, the tubes shall be protected against mechanical damage, ingress of moisture and exposure to active chemical substances.

Tubes are stored in the packed form in the closed premises, which exclude mechanical damages of tubes, ingress of moisture onto them and the exposure to chemical substances.
