Description

The device is designed for covert surveillance, orientation, movement on the ground, driving a car, reading maps, repairing equipment in the dark with natural night illumination (EHR) from the moon and stars and in complete darkness with an infrared illuminator (IR illuminator) on. The device can be used in the version of glasses with a 1x lens and a mask or in a binocular version when replacing a 1x lens with a long-focus lens (3.7x, 5x). The device uses an electron-optical converter (EOC) of 2+ generation with an electron-pulse conversion function, which ensures the operation of the device not only with EHPO from (3-5) x10-3 lx (moonless night) to 1.5 lx (twilight), but also in the conditions of the increased illumination more than 1,5 lx.

The image intensifier of the device automatically switches to the electron-pulse conversion mode (for an observer as a short flash of an image intensifier screen) when light interference appears in the field of view of the device (fires, headlights, flares, etc.). At the same time, the device continues to function. After the disappearance of sources of high illumination, the device automatically switches to normal operation.

The device can be operated at an ambient air temperature of plus 35 to minus 35 ° C and a relative humidity of not more than 95% at a temperature of 25 ° C. The device is powered from one AA type element 1.5 V.
