Description

The UV-210 exposure unit is designed to reduce the adhesion of UV-sensitive films used in separating wafers and substrates on disk cutting machines, as well as when sanding wafers. It has a safe and reliable source of ultraviolet radiation and allows you to fully control the process of exposure through the operator panel with a graphic display. Information on the total operating time of the UV lamps is also displayed, which makes it possible to replace them in a timely manner and avoid downtime. Installation design provides ease of use and maintenance.

Currently, UV films are increasingly used due to the presence of a number of advantages compared to conventional films, the main of which is high adhesion, which makes it possible to reliably fix the plates / crystals in the cutting process. UV film is recommended for use in cases where:

High adhesion required

Thin and brittle plates are cut

Cutting plates with different crystal sizes

The choice of conventional film with the required adhesion is based on the size of the resulting crystals / elements. It must firmly hold the crystals / elements during the cutting process, but at the same time allow them to be removed from the film without damage. Using a UV film gives an uncompromising solution to this problem. Before exposure, the adhesion of the film is so high that it can hold even the smallest crystals, preventing chipping caused by their microdisplacements during the cutting process. After exposure, the adhesion of the film is reduced to 10 times, thereby ensuring the safe removal of large and / or brittle crystals / elements. Another advantage of the UV film is the stability of its adhesion after irradiation for a long time. This is very important in cases when only a part of the crystals / elements required for a certain period are removed from the film, and the rest will be removed after some time.
