The works are performed in order to develop proposals for the scope and venue of the engine repair.
JSC “Klimov” develops technical conditions to undertake products repair at the Operator’s site or at the repair facility.
Technical condition evaluation is performed by the specialists of the Company. In the course of works they examine passports and documentation of the engines, accessory gearboxes and assembly units. They perform visual check-up, icluding assessment of gas-air channels of engines using an endoscope of “Olympus” type, which has image capture function.
R&D specialists of JSC “Klimov” analyze received information and revealed defects and their causes, predict possible hidden damages and determine the scope and methods of repair.
Reporting documentation for the works performed is an Act of Technical Condition of the Engine with repair proposals.
Works on one engine do not eceed 3 days.
